Sunday, November 15
12 to 5pm
ARCH
500 E 7th St. (7th & Neches)
Austin, TX 78701

This year's show will feature over 2,000 original gallery-worthy works from over 120 artists participating in our class program. Many of your favorite artists have returned for this year's show including Howard Cook, Pat Bailey, Hugh Miles, and Zebra, to name a few. We also have some talented new artists that we are excited for you to meet including Larry Williams, Laura Creitz, John O'Neal, and Angelique Catero. See our Meet The Artists page to learn more.

You'll find a beautiful variety of acrylic and oil paintings, pastel and chalk drawings, photography, and much more. Original artwork starts at $35 with all sales proceeds, apart from a nominal mounting fee, going directly to the participating artists. A $3 suggested admission donation helps defray the cost of program supplies and materials. We'll have 2010 calendars for sale and canvas shopping bags with the Art From the Streets logo with proceeds raised going directly back into the program. A selection of works from last year's sale will also be available starting at just $20. Just look for the blue dots on the back of the piece. Parking is available on the street.

We anticipate this year's event will have a special energy because of current economic conditions and its affect on everyone. We've been successful in attracting new attendees each year who, along with our loyal followers, appreciate not only original artwork, but artwork that gives back to those less fortunate. Despite the economy, we feel this year will be another success. The range and style of art is incredible - paintings, caricature drawings, jewelry, photography - and when it sells it has a huge, immediate impact on these artists who are working hard to bring honor, dignity, purpose, and comfort to their lives. Our mission is to provide a positive impact to the homeless community by overcoming socioeconomic barriers and stereotypes, and we've been quite successful in relaying this message. The community has been gracious in supporting our organization, and we look forward to what this year will bring.
